Zhwan Mining Company

The Zhwan Mining Company was established before the calamity of 5 years ago and has existed for two generations of Zhwan matriarchs.The company deals in the mining of predominantly Blue Quartz, a resource found in the Dravanian Hinterlands, as well as emerald, diamond, and Thanalan gold. The company has mining bases in Idyllshire, Dravania, and Black Brush Station, Thanalan.

Tyo'li is closest with his little sister, Seda, who he dotes on with presents and support. The rest of his family tend to look down upon his exploits - his older brothers are very responsible and support the eldest, Lho, who takes charge with all the family business. The Zhwan Family

A typical example of Keeper of the Moon culture, the Zhwan family is matriarchal, and has close ties with the Moshantu and Nelhah Keeper of the Moon families - together they make a small tribe that resides together. Untypically, they live in the city of Ul'dah, and have forsaken the traditional hunting practises of old for business enterprises in the glittering wealth of the city.The Zhwan family currently consists of the matriarch: Tyo Zhwan (56y), and her children: the eldest sister Lho Zhwan (32y and the future matriarch), three brothers Tyo'a Zhwan (31y), Tyo'to Zhwan (28y) and Tyo'li Zhwan (23y), and the youngest sister Seda Zhwan (11y).
Tyo'li's father, Sami'a Betwanhe - a nomad who travels from Kugane - is unusually the same father for all of Tyo'li's siblings - perhaps Tyo holds a soft spot for him.
